🌿 About Me

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or quietly exhausted, you’re not alone. This space was created for you.

I’m a counsellor who believes in quiet strength, emotional safety, and the healing power of being truly heard. My work is rooted in trauma-informed care and shaped by years of supporting individuals and families through anxiety, depression, grief, and the long-term effects of trauma.

Whether you're navigating personal change, caring for others, or simply seeking a moment of clarity, I offer a space where your story is met with empathy—not judgment. I’ve witnessed the impact of childhood abuse, family breakdown, identity struggles, and emotional burnout. I’ve walked alongside clients aged 16 to 80 as they explore the complexities of mental health and personal growth.

I hold a SCOTACS Diploma in Counselling and Group Work, fully accredited by COSCA and equivalent to an Honours Degree. I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), regularly meet with an experienced BACP supervisor, and adhere to both the BACP Ethical Framework and the COSCA Code of Ethics.

My therapeutic style is person-centred and grounded in the core values of empathy, genuineness, and acceptance. Sessions are paced gently, with space to breathe, reflect, and begin again. I draw from a range of approaches to meet you where you are—whether that’s exploring automatic negative thoughts, core beliefs, or simply sitting quietly with what’s present.

I understand the emotional toll that life’s responsibilities—whether supporting others or carrying your own burdens—can bring. I offer a comprehensive program that honours both the visible and invisible weight you carry, making space for your healing, wherever you are in your journey.

Above all, I believe recovery isn’t always straightforward. Like the tide, it moves in rhythms—sometimes quiet, sometimes powerful, always your own. That rhythm shapes everything I offer. My role is to walk beside you, offering clarity, compassion, and a safe place to return to.

If something in these words resonates, I invite you to reach out. You don’t need to have the right words—just a desire to begin.
